Iran Clinic Bids Farewell to Managing Director, Dr. Seyed Mohammad Ali Salahatpoor

The Islamic University College, Ghana (IUCG) hosted a farewell ceremony for Dr. Seyed Mohammad Ali Salahatpoor, the outgoing Managing Director of Iran Clinic, in recognition of his dedicated service over the past four years.
The event brought together traditional rulers, scholars, teachers from Hawza, guests from Iran, faculty members of IUCG, and dignitaries from various organizations.
Dr. Ibrahim Hussein, Vice President of Academic Affairs at IUCG, welcomed attendees on behalf of the university’s management.
He described Dr. Salahatpoor as a humble and committed leader whose contributions to the Iran Clinic and the Ghanaian healthcare system were invaluable. “We are not happy that you are leaving, but as duty calls, you must go,” he said.

Several distinguished guests delivered solidarity speeches, highlighting Dr. Salahatpoor’s impact. Mr. Hamid Darvishvand, Chargé d’Affaires of the Iranian Embassy in Ghana, commended the outgoing director for his hard work and achievements, while warmly welcoming the incoming
director, Dr. Abdullahi. Gayoni Solomon, Secretary General of the Ghana Red Cross Society, expressed deep appreciation for Dr. Salahatpoor’s humanitarian efforts, emphasizing his alignment with the Red Cross mandate to alleviate suffering. “He has been a gentleman by all standards, dedicating himself to his duties and serving Ghana with excellence. “On behalf of the Ghana Red Cross Society, I wish you farewell and hope we remain connected,” Solomon stated. In recognition of his service, the Red Cross Society presented Dr. Salahatpoor with a citation.
