A team from the Public Affairs Directorate of the Islamic University College, Ghana (IUCG) has successfully concluded a four-day outreach program in Prang, aimed at promoting the university and engaging with prospective students and the community.
The outreach, which took place from Thursday, 15th August to Sunday, 18th August 2024, was led by the Public Affairs Director, Mr. Mohammed Mujib.
The IUCG team engaged with students and staff at Prang Senior High School and Atebubu Senior High School during the outreach.
They distributed over 100 informational fliers to final-year students in these schools, introducing them to the opportunities available at IUCG and encouraging them to consider enrolling at the university.
In addition to the school engagements, the team conducted a door-to-door, house-to-house campaign in Prang, interacting with residents and visitors who had gathered for a Maulid celebration.
The team also took their outreach to the streets, engaging with prospective students at their tent and in public spaces.
Further amplifying their efforts, the IUCG team visited a community radio station, where Mr. Mujib extensively discussed the university’s offerings and made a compelling case for enrolling at IUCG.
He also granted an interview on Tijaniyya TV, focusing on the ongoing admissions process.
Throughout the outreach, the team distributed over 300 fliers to interested individuals, emphasizing IUCG as an excellent choice for tertiary education in Ghana.
The outreach program underscores IUCG’s commitment to expanding its reach and connecting with prospective students across the country.
